The Office of Educational Technology (OET) works closely with faculty, staff and students to promote the development and dissemination of innovative uses of technology in teaching and learning.

Services offered by the OET support team include:

Support of CUNY’s Learning Management System (Blackboard Learn)
Online Course Design and Development
Instructional Design Consultation
Faculty and Student Readiness for Online Classes
Video Lecture Support for Synchronous and Asynchronous Courses
Faculty and Staff Technology Workshops

The OET staff provides many services including help with synchronous and asynchronous lectures, online course design assessment, ePortfolio creation, faculty development workshops, individualized assistance for students and faculty, and consulting for all educational technology supported by Queensborough. At the forefront of the OET’s responsibilities is the online Learning Management System (LMS) support for faculty and students using Blackboard, and ePortfolio support using Digication. Online materials are available 24/7 for many courses utilizing web-enhanced, partly online, and fully online modalities.
